Let’s assume this year is truly the last before Coldplay retires. If you’re a die-hard fan or even just a casual fan, you’ll want to act fast and grab the remaining tickets for the Coldplay Tour 2025 to ensure you have no regrets by the end of the year.
We attended their concert in Abu Dhabi on January 14, 2025, and we’d like to share our experience and the lessons we learned—valuable insights for anyone planning to attend one of their upcoming shows.

How long are Coldplay Concerts in 2025?
Many of us had this question cause we need to prepare tansport! So here's the full scoop. The whole concert goes for 4 hours. The actual Coldplay Performance lasts about 2 hours. The remaining is usually taken up by support singers who usually starts the show. This concert with Elyana and few Zimbabwean singers.
We joined the queue by 3 p.m. at Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The crowds were crazy eventhough it was the last day of the tour. The gates opened for GA standing at 5.30 p.m. and by 6.30 p.m. the crowd was settled and the support artists started performing. By 8.30 p.m. Coldplay took the stage.
Can you take Water to Coldplay Tour 2025?
Yes you can take water, but you cannot carry one-time use plastic bottles. They check it quite strictly. You must bring a refillable water bottle as they press very much on sustainability. Sometimes these rules can change depending on the country and stadium you're visiting, but generally, you can bring water to the Coldplay Tour 2025 as long as it fits your purse and it's a refillable bottle.
How do I show Ticket if I don't have Ticketmaster at Coldplay Concert?
Keep in mind that you need to show the digital ticket to enter the concert ground. Assuming you are buying the ticket from a third-party seller, if you don't have Ticketmaster, you can transfer the ticket alternatively from SeeTickets or any other reputable platforms. Random reseller are not recommended.
You cannot show PDFs or printed paper with the QR code. If you have an offline ticket, there are ticket dispute centers across the venue to help you out. It's risky for you to use offline tickets cause the same ticket can be sold to two people. If the Ticketmaster App is not available in your region, you can login on web and show the ticket.
How to Download Ticketmaster App on Google if its's not in the Region
If your Google account is not part of any households back in your city, or it's not linked to any local payment account, you can download the app easily as soon as you reach the destination country where the tour is taking place. So don't worry. Create an account online on Ticketmaster, and get your ticket transferred from the seller, 3 days before the event. As soon as you're in the destination, you can download the app.
Which Tour Currently Has Legit Tickets?
If you're reading this, high chances are that the official website and recommended selling sites have run out of tickets already and you're looking for a third party seller. When we checked back in October 2024, the only legit tickets available in the official website were for the concerts in South Korea, so you still may be able to get a good deal for it now from a reseller.
Keep in mind that reseller tickets are way more expensive than the original price (we are talking 2 or 3 times more), and it keeps increasing based on demand.
Should I Buy GA or VIP Tickets to Coldplay Tour 2025
Both options have their pros and cons. If you're in GA Standing, you're much closer to the stage (depending on how quickly you get there), enjoy the full immersive experience, and have a higher chance of being shown on the screen or even invited to the stage. However, if you have any health conditions, are prone to dehydration, or need to use the bathroom frequently, this may not be the ideal choice.
VIP seating, on the other hand, is much more comfortable but is located far from the stage. Seated options come in different tiers, so you can choose one that fits your budget. However, if you're a die-hard fan, you might regret missing out on the full immersive experience of the concert.
Coldplay Ticket Buying & Scams - Our Experience
Grey Market Dominance
As you'd already know, there are resellers who purchase tickets in bulk the moment they are released on the Coldplay Official website. When they run out, more resellers purchase tickets from reputed sellers like Ticketmaster, Vividseats and Viagogo. This leaves actual fans, very little opportunity to purchase legit tickets. The rest transfers to the grey market where many of us buy our tickets from.
We bought our GA standing tickets from a contact for the Abu Dhabi show for 600 AED ($163) each. The original price is 195 AED ($53). That is almost 3 times the price, but its an original ticket that was transferred to us via Ticketmaster.
Cheap Ticket Scam
Do not search for Cheap Tickets for Coldplay Concert 2025, you'll definitely get caught to a scammer. If someone is trying to sell 'real tickets' on reddit, Facebook, random forums and even TikTok, there's a 90% chance they are scammers. They'll sell you a fake ticket. We almost got caught to an Indian scammer who pretended to be someone from the US on Facebook.
They had actual photos of a Caucasian person and kids, probably stolen from another account. We can no longer search images on Google so that's a dead end. The profile looked legit at first glance, but they shared payment info, which was a UAE account that had an Indian name, and they were willing to sell their ticket for 200 AED each which was pretty low. We were on alert, so we suggested to get on Messenger call first to finalize the deal, and they instantly backed off.
What We Recommend
If you cannot find any tickets on renowned sites for the Coldplay Tour in 2025, but there are certain new sies that look genuine, buy using PayPal so you can always ask for a refund if things don't go well.
If not, check among your friends and colleagues if they know any resellers. Speak to them before you seal any deal.
Last resort (we don't recommend) is buying from a random online reseller. Be very careful if you're doing so. Always compare several seller prices and trust your gut instinct. If you feel its too good to be true, it most probably is.
Tips to Prepare Before Attending the Concert
Get to the venue minimum 2 hours before the gates open if you have GA standing tickets.
There will be fan zones where you can get face paints. And you have the official merchandise sellers as well. If you come a bit early, you can visit all these.
Wear light and comfortable clothes.
If you're in GA, you'll be standing for 7+ hours straight. So make sure you wear comfy shoes.
Eat, but don't overeat. Drink, but don't overdrink - If you're in GA, the spot you secure can easily be taken away from you. And people can be merciless. You cannot afford bathroom breaks.
You can only carry a bag that is A4 size. We only took waist packs (Fanny packs) carrying our phone, some cash and a power bank.
People lining up 2 hours prior to gates opening Now that power banks are allowed, make sure you bring one just incase your phone dies midway through the concert.

When will Coldplay Tour US Again in 2025?
Coldplay will be back in North America for 10 concerts by end of May following the tour in South Korea. They'll be in California, Las Vegas, Denver, Texas, Boston, Nashville, Madison and Miami in the US. And Toronto, Canada before heading to England.
Will Coldplay come back to Abu Dhabi?
During the Coldplay Abu Dhabi concert 2025, Chris Martin hinted that the band might come to Abu Dhabi again, but there are no valid sources to claim this. If they don't retire by the end of 2025, there is hope to see Coldplay again in the Middle East.
